My Master’s thesis explores the “Non-Milano”: the ordinary places that don’t fit the city’s glossy image. The project combines a thesis book and a project book. After the theoretical research, I designed a set of wearable sensors to record body data while walking and cycling through the city. This data became a diary and a series of visualisations showing a Milan that doesn’t look like Milan.
